  • How does the book review process work?

    • Within three business days after payment, we will evaluate your submission.
    • If it is accepted, we will send you a personal email confirming our commitment and delivery schedule.
    • If it is not a fit for any reason, we will issue a refund.
    • Once we are finished crafting your review, we’ll send it to you to make sure that it is accurate. Once you verify accuracy, we will release the final version to you and schedule your book to appear on our website, in our newsletter and in social media.

  • Will you review books before they are published?

    • Yes, we do it all the time. Many book reviews are completed months prior to release (and in a few cases, more than a year in advance) so our review can be used in pre-launch marketing.
    • Some authors use our reviews as part of a package when trying to get an agent or a publishing deal.
    • We strongly encourage review publication on BestThrillers.com, email newsletter feature and social media activity during the same week of your book launch, but we are flexible on dates, and early publication can be delivered upon request.

  • Do you ever revise your book reviews?

    • We will ask you to review the final version prior to publication to ensure we have our names and facts straight.
    • We are always willing to make revisions for the sake of accuracy.
    • However, our opinions are non-negotiable.
    • Should you disagree with our review or simply want to keep the feedback between us, you may request to keep the review private (non-published).

  • Do you work with publishers and publicists, or do you only work with authors?

    We work with publishers and publicists constantly in addition to our work with authors.

  • Can your book reviews be kept private?

    Absolutely! If you simply want an independent review without publication, or if you disagree with our opinion, you may choose to keep it just between us.
